REGULATORY BARRISTER - FITNESS TO PRACTISE, 5 + YEARS' PQE, LONDON/HYBRID, £60,000 - £75,000

Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of in house Presenting Officers, coordinating the deployment of external advocates, and maintaining high standards of representation throughout statutory committee hearings.
  • Primarily managerial, but also requiring advocacy in complex cases and occasional appearances before the High Court.
  • Hybrid role, requiring one to two days in the office each week, with the remaining time worked remotely.
Qualifications
  • Qualified barrister with at least five years' PQE who has experience in professional regulation or a regulatory environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record in tribunal advocacy and interpreting complex legislation, case law, and guidance, combined with strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with experience in high profile cases.
