Our client is recruiting for a Registered Home Manager to lead a solo-occupancy residential children's home in Buckinghamshire. This is a brand-new solo placement home - you will lead Ofsted registration and recruit your own staff team from scratch.

This is a key role with responsibility for safeguarding, leadership, and regulatory compliance in a therapeutic and trauma-informed setting.

Your Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of home operations, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards

Lead and coach your team, maintaining a calm, supportive environment

Work closely with social care, education, therapy, and youth offending teams

Implement individual care plans tailored to emotional and developmental needs

Prepare the home for inspection and ongoing quality assurance

You Bring:

2 years as Deputy Manager or higher in a children's residential care setting

NVQ Level 5 or willingness to complete.

Deep understanding of safeguarding and quality standards

Ability to lead in high-risk, trauma-informed environments

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential

Calm, empathetic, and confident leadership style
