Registered Bulding Inspector - Class 2D

Our client, a leading organisation within the buildings sector, is seeking a Registered Building Inspector Class 2D to engage in a contract role focused on building control.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
• Interpreting and applying relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines related to building control
• Assessing building plans and specifications to ensure they meet required standards
• Providing advice and guidance to developers, architects, and contractors on building control matters
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation following site visits
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout construction phases
• Collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders to resolve any compliance issues
• Maintaining accurate records and updating systems in line with organisational policies

Job Requirements

• Experience in building control and inspection
• In depth knowledge of building regulations and applicable legislation
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing technical reports
• A relevant qualification in building surveying or a related discipline
• Registered Building Inspector Class 2D certification is essential
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site inspections effectively
