What do we look for?Our Technology Management (TM) Industrial Placements are specially designed to give you the experience you're hungry for - before you even graduate! You don't need a technical degree to join TM, we accept applications from any degree discipline. More important are ambition and a passion for the most recent technological developments, some impressive strategic thinking, and business awareness.

Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the time they start their placement and be returning to study after their placement.
Our Technology Management Industrial Placements are a chance to showcase your thinking and skills, with total support from a line manager and a buddy.
The role: Technology ManagementTechnology is now an integrated part of all our lives - employees and consumers alike - and as a result it's at the heart of everything we do at Unilever, opening new possibilities and propelling us into the future. Technology touches everything from the sourcing and distribution of sustainable ingredients to the marketing, measurement, and selling of our brands on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and partner websites. Some of our positions you could be allocated to include:- Partnering with our global Customer and Sales teams to deliver new technologies that provide us with better insights for Unilever to sell more products
- Joining a team responsible for delivering and scaling Cloud technologies across the entire organisation
- A data analyst within our Data and Analytics team, helping to deliver insights, analytics, and recommendations to teams around the world
- An IT Business Partner to the UK local business, capturing requirements for technology needs and working alongside UK-based teams to solve problems and fill whitespaces through technology
- Cyber Security
- Data Ethics
- Python
- IT service management
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Please note, that at Unilever, we have development programmes, the skills above are skills that would be good to have at the beginning however you will develop them over the course of the 12 months.

- 28 days (pro rata) of holiday inclusive of bank holidays. Once you have completed 12 worked weeks, under the Agency Workers Regulation your holiday entitlement will increase to 33 days inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata for the term of this placement.
