Regional Planning Administrator
Salary up to £30,000 p.a. - dependent upon your skill set and experience!
Working Monday to Friday 0800hrs to 1600hrs (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)
What you will doWe are looking for a dedicated and organized Regional Planning Administrator to join our regional planning team at Volvo Trucks based in Enfield. The successful candidate will support regional planning processes, coordinate planning activities, and provide administrative assistance. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You will liaise directly with customers to assist with planning maintenance and repairs, working closely with the Workshop team to provide relevant and accurate information, ensuring customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as key customer contact and point of reference
- Coordinate with workshop management to maximize capacity and utilization
- Clarify repair basis (Retail/Warranty/Contract) for customers and workshop
- Gain customer agreement by explaining benefits of repair solutions
- Produce and explain repair orders during planning
- Maintain customer contact info in workshop planner, CM, and VDA
- Ensure resources (labour and parts) are available before scheduled work
- Manage bookings for courtesy cars, collection, and truck monitoring cases
- Handle vehicle alerts and liaise with customers or dealers
- Specify work based on IMPACT content and convert to GDS quotes
- Convert GDS quotes into repair orders
- Ensure authorized work is correctly coded on repair orders
Requirements:
- Customer service skills and ability to liaise effectively
- Background in administration or customer-focused roles
- Ability to work independently and in a team, building rapport
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in IT
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude and adaptability
