Location: Hybrid (National) - with regular travel to Adecco Group and client sites as required

At Adecco, we are proud to partner with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) in providing critical recruitment services for the UK's Armed Forces. This new approach will, for the first time, see the Royal Navy, the British Army, and the Royal Air Force have a joint Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS). Delivered through a partnership of the MOD, Serco, Adecco and a consortium of partners, this service will provide end-to-end support from candidate attraction to assessment, onboarding, and Phase 1 training.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Delivery Director to lead and inspire our recruitment teams, ensuring best-in-class service delivery across all aspects of the candidate journey for the Armed Forces Recruitment Services. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving performance, productivity, and continuous improvement within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the delivery of critical recruitment services working in partnership with the Serco, and a consortium of partners.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and manage Recruitment Operations Managers and be responsible for the outputs of the wider delivery team.
  • Motivate, develop, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve key success measures.
  • Ensure clear career paths and development programmes for all team members.
  • Drive a high-performance culture, celebrating success and one that delivers.
  • Champion operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive service improvements and adapt to market conditions.
  • Monitor ratios, report on performance, and implement agreed actions with leadership.
About you Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in volume hiring/large RPO environments in an operational leadership role with measurable key metrics.
  • Ability to contribute, implement, influence and deliver towards operational strategy.
  • Strong track record in direct resourcing models.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Expertise in large-scale KPI/SLA delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in developing successful teams and succession planning.
