Recruitment Consultant - Energy

Overview

We're looking for a commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join a growing Energy recruitment team.

This is not a delivery-only recruitment role - we're looking for someone who thrives on outbound activity, opening accounts and generating billings through strong business development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing new business opportunities across the Energy market
• Conducting high-volume cold outreach and prospecting
• Building relationships with key hiring contacts
• Growing and managing client accounts
• Delivering recruitment campaigns from qualification through placement
• Contributing directly to desk growth and revenue

What We're Looking For

• Previous Energy recruitment experience within an agency environment
• Demonstrable client acquisition success
• Strong cold calling and objection handling ability
• Extensive sales and business development experience
• Commercial and target-oriented approach

Industry Knowledge Required

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the Energy sector and be able to engage confidently with clients operating within areas such as:

• Renewable Energy
• Utilities
• Power Generation
• Transmission & Distribution
• Oil & Gas
• Energy Infrastructure
• Sustainability & Net Zero Projects
• Engineering & Technical Energy Recruitment

You should understand the recruitment challenges within the sector, key skill shortages, market trends and be able to engage credibly with Energy professionals and hiring decision-makers.
