Recruitment & Training Coordinator (fixed term) (2026-261)

Mowlam Healthcare is one of Ireland's leading private nursing home providers, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across a network of care homes nationwide.

We are seeking a Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join our team on a 10-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover). This role will support the recruitment of frontline and clinical staff, while also contributing to the administration and ongoing rollout of our learning platform.

Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, clinical teams, and an external learning consultant, the successful candidate will coordinate recruitment processes end-to-end-including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and feedback tracking-and support the delivery of training initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad, hands on experience across recruitment and learning within a dynamic, people-focused healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment Support
  • Support Talent Acquisition Partners with day to day recruitment activities
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates for nursing, HCA, and other frontline roles
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and clinical teams
  • Participate in interviews alongside clinical stakeholders where required
  • Take ownership of interview logistics, including scheduling, coordination, and candidate communication
  • Track and follow up on interview feedback to ensure timely hiring decisions
  • Maintain structured candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Keep accurate recruitment records and update applicant tracking systems
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, clinical teams, and hiring managers
  • Support workforce planning by maintaining active candidate pipelines for key roles
  • Provide updates on candidate progress and recruitment activity
Learning & Development Support
  • Support the administration and ongoing rollout of the learning platform
  • Work alongside an external consultant to support platform updates and enhancements
  • Assist with the coordination and communication of training initiatives
  • Maintain accurate training records and monitor completion rates
  • Support employees with access to and use of the learning platform
Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across recruitment and training activities
  • Generate reports on recruitment pipelines, interview activity, and training completion
  • Ensure documentation is audit ready and compliant with internal processes
Skills & Experience Essential
  • Experience in a recruitment, HR coordination, or administrative role
  • Experience screening CVs and conducting candidate screening calls
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate interviews and manage structured processes
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
Desirable
  • Experience supporting recruitment in healthcare or high volume environments
  • Experience coordinating or participating in interviews with multiple stakeholders
  • Exposure to learning management systems (LMS)
  • Interest or experience in learning and development or training coordination
  • Familiarity with compliance and record keeping requirements

This role is based at our Limerick Support Office and operated on a hybrid model with mandatory office days each week.
