  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers with shortlists.
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidate enquiries, providing a professional and responsive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing new starter communications and letters, arranging inductions, and supporting a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and people-related records, including the recruitment tracker and reporting.
  • Update and maintain People & Culture content on our intranet, working with the wider People team to ensure information remains accurate and engaging.
  • Create and manage candidate attraction content for the HarperCollins LinkedIn page and other digital channels.
  • Upload and maintain training content on the internal learning management system and collate feedback to support continuous improvement of learning initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that enhance the candidate and employee experience.
  • Support ad hoc People admin tasks, projects and initiatives, including diversity and inclusion activities and engagement with schools and universities.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling data, documents, and confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 and other digital tools, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach, with the initiative to identify improvements and embrace new ways of working.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required.
  • An interest in people, recruitment, and talent development.
