Job Description
Recruitment & Admissions Manager (Full-Time and Weekend MBA)

Recruit, assess and nurture the next generation of leaders as a Recruitment & Admissions Manager (Full-Time & Weekend MBA) at a world leading university. Imperial Business School is seeking a diligent professional to join our team and deliver end to end pipeline management across two of our flagship MBA programmes. You will be empowered to attract and admit exceptional candidates who will benefit business and improve society through the power of innovative thinking. This is an outward facing role, grounded in data and driven by the robust global relationships you will build.

What you would be doing

You will lead the recruitment and admissions processes for Imperial's Full Time and Weekend MBA programmes - overseeing the full applicant journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. You will play a central part in shaping the composition, quality and diversity of our cohorts, ensuring a smooth, professional and engaging experience for every applicant.

You will be responsible for implementing data driven recruitment strategies, managing application and selection processes with rigour and efficiency, and ensuring a professional, personalised experience for every candidate. Through targeted engagement, events and communications, you will develop exceptional student cohorts that contribute to the global reputation of the programmes and the institution.

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment & Admissions (Full-Time & Weekend MBA), you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Recruitment & Admissions team, the Business School and the wider College. You will use data and insights to drive improvements, maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and represent Imperial at domestic, international and online events. This people focused role will require both analytical ability and sound professional judgement.

What we are looking for
  • Experience in recruitment, admissions or a comparable customer focused environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector.
  • Proven ability to manage our applicant pipeline from enquiry to enrolment, building effective relationships and rigorously assessing candidate suitability to meet ambitious recruitment targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse global candidate pool.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and selection tools, able to interpret data to support strategy developments.
  • A commitment to continuous process improvement, using insights and feedback to enhance the candidate journey.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.
What we can offer you
  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
  • Benefit from a sector leading salary and remuneration package (including 39 days' annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on site leisure facilities and cycle to work scheme.
  • Interest free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
Location

This is a Full Time and Open ended role based at our South Kensington Campus (Hybrid). Hybrid roles allow a blend of remote and onsite work, with the requirement that all staff will spend a minimum of 60% of their working time (typically three days per week) onsite. The role will also include occasional weekend work and international travel.
