We are seeking a highly organised Resourcing Administrator to join our friendly and welcoming Recruitment Team.
This role involves working closely with Senior Medical Staffing Advisors and candidates, managing recruitment campaigns from posting adverts to making appointments. Responsibilities include handling adverts on NHS Jobs, processing conditional offers, conducting pre employment checks (including ID appointments), and managing hires.
You will provide excellent customer service and help ensure a positive candidate experience through regular communication with managers and candidates.
Strong administrative skills are essential, including proficiency in IT applications such as TRAC and ESR (Electronic Staff Records) would be good but not essential.
We are a busy team, so the ability to work well under pressure, remain professional, and show interest for recruitment is important.
Full training and equipment will be provided.
Main duties of the jobProvide a comprehensive, customer focused and efficient administration and full engagement service with multiple key stakeholders to ensure effective processes and procedures are in place which meet local needs and recruitment requirements.
Supporting the Recruitment Team in assisting the Trust in achieving its strategic and operational objectives. Some operational tasks include:
- Advertising job roles
- Setting up Trust interviews
- Conditional offer of employment
- Pre employment checks (DBS, occupational health, references, right to work)
- ID appointments face to face or remote
- Weekly chasing of pre employment checks
- Auditing of the recruitment files
- Unconditional offer (payroll set up)
- Management of recruitment inbox
- Completes Daily Checks using TRAC and ESR as required.
- GCSE's at grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- 3 A levels or NVQ Level III
- Understanding of recruitment processes and basic employment legislation
- Experience of working within a team
- Minute / note taking experience
- Experience of working in a busy open plan environment
- HR experience
- NHS Medical Staffing experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with MS Word and Excel
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and GDPR
- Excellent level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as an effective member of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours/duties
