Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist - AI/Life Sciences (f/m/d) Join AITHYRA as a key driver of our talent strategy and employee experience. Reporting to Jean-Paul Chidiac, Head of Human Resources, and in close collaboration with the AITHYRA Directors, you will shape how we attract, welcome, and support exceptional talent in our dynamic research environment. Your tasks Lead End-to-End Recruitment: Drive the hiring process for a wide range of roles - from administrative staff to top-tier scientists and engineers (AI researchers, data scientists, bioinformaticians, wet-lab scientists, robotics engineers, scientific support staff, and more). Champion Our Employer Brand: Act as an ambassador for our institute across channels and platforms, crafting compelling job profiles and strategies to attract exceptional talent. Create Impactful Onboarding Journeys: Design and deliver a seamless, engaging onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success from day one. Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with the AITHYRA Directors, Faculty, Admin Team Leaders, Facility Heads, to define roles, optimize processes, and deliver a top-notch candidate experience. Lead Respectful Offboarding: Ensure thoughtful, well-coordinated offboarding processes - including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and clear communication. Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to improve talent acquisition strategies and support informed, strategic HR decisions. Your Profile A bachelor's degree, MBA (or equivalent) and 5+ years of proven success in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition Experience in working in an international research and training environment, e.g. University, academic institution, or an area that represents the specific Life Science or AI/ML focus of AITHYRA, e.g. biotech, pharma, tech companies Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills, Basic knowledge of German High integrity and sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information A sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing focus A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring and beyond A people-first mindset with a natural ability to build trust, engage stakeholders, and deliver outstanding service Nice to Have Familiarity with Austrian labor law and employment practices Experience supporting visa applications and residence permits for international researchers An interest in biomedical research and openness to learn more about AI and its potential to improve human health We offer Shape the Future: Be part of building a cutting-edge research institute from the ground up.
