Pay: £18.00 per hour

Contract: 3-Month Temporary Assignment

Hours: Full Time

Are you passionate about supporting people to make positive changes?

We're recruiting on behalf of an established and respected substance misuse charity for an experienced Recovery Worker to join their friendly team in Worthing (BN11).

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse achieve lasting recovery.

The Role

• Manage your own caseload of clients.
• Complete assessments, recovery plans and risk assessments.
• Deliver one-to-one keyworking sessions and tailored recovery support.
• Provide harm reduction advice and interventions.
• Signpost clients to housing, healthcare, employment and other support services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records.
• Work closely with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within substance misuse, addiction, recovery or support services.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A compassionate, non-judgemental approach.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) may be required.
