Job Description

Recovery Worker - Liverpool Supported Housing

Location: 43-45 Anfield Villas, Anfield Road, Liverpool, L4 0TF. Working Hours: 37 hours per week. Contract Type: Permanent. Salary: £25,877.80 - £30,868 per annum.

About the Role

Liverpool SHS is a mental health supported housing and community-based service. The role supports adults (18+) with mental health needs and dual diagnosis needs, providing 12 hour supported accommodation and personalised recovery support. Recovery looks different for each person; you help enable recovery by fostering independence, confidence and well being.

What You'll Do
  • Build meaningful relationships and provide person centred support
  • Work with individuals to develop personalised support and recovery plans
  • Support daily living skills, including household tasks and financial management
  • Encourage access to education, employment and leisure opportunities
  • Promote independence, well being and empowerment
  • Work as part of a supportive team, participating in a rota and on call system
To Succeed in This Role

  • Flexibility to support a rota and on call system
  • Experience not essential; full training provided. Lived experience of mental health challenges is welcomed.
