Job Description
Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Recovery Worker to join the team at our Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service, Inspiring Minds based in Preston, PR1 7QE.

Salary: £13.12 per hour. Hours: 35 hours weekly.

Contract: 12 months fixed term, until April 2027.

Responsibilities

As a Recovery Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

You'll provide compassionate, person-centered, and recovery-focused care and support, helping individuals build resilience, coping strategies, and self-management skills.

It's not just about addressing immediate needs; it's about empowering individuals to take control of their mental health and well-being in the long term. By fostering partnerships, signposting, and making referrals, you'll ensure that those attending our service have access to all the specialist, universal, and targeted support that they need.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Mental Health care setting is essential for this position. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
