Recovery Driver - Glasgow Nights

Shift and Location

Shifts: Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.

Standard Shift Duration: 9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45 minute break.

Flexibility Required: While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end of shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.

Depot Postcode: G40 3JT (night shifts only)

Eligibility: You must live within 25 miles or 1 hour travel from the depot.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by safely recovering vehicles and reassuring customers during breakdowns, helping them get back on the road quickly.
• Work independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Solve problems on the spot, using technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.
• Stay solution focused and compliant with EU Regulations & WTD, representing the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

• A full Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence is essential. If you already hold a Category CE (HGV Class 1) licence, we'll support you in gaining it.
• A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and a digital tachograph card.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
