Section: Regulatory, Employment & Practice Support

Location: Civic Centre

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Hours: This is a zero hour contract and is on an as and when required basis

The Role:

This is a casual role for Records Centre Administrators where there is no guaranteed hours, you will assist in the provision of an efficient and effective administrative service for the Records Centre within Corporate Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage records in line with Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation
  • Ensure the RecordsCentre Database is accurate and up to date
  • Handle moderate to heavy lifting using appropriate equipment in line with Health and Safety procedures
  • Support an efficient records retrieval service across departments
  • Respond to enquiries related to record storage and assist with corporate projects
  • Use Microsoft Office applications to support daily tasks
About You:
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems
  • Able to communicate well, be organised and work in a methodical manner
  • Able to work accurately with good attention to detail
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • A general good education
