POST RESPONSIBLE TO: Office Manager

START DATE: September 2026 or sooner if possible

CONTRACT: Full time (37.5 hours per week), term time only plus 10 days

CLOSING DATE: 28th August 2026

INTERVIEW DATE: WB 31st August 2026

We are seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised individual to join BOA Digital Technologies Academy as a Receptionist.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide a highly professional, welcoming and efficient reception and administrative service, acting as the first point of contact for parents, carers, pupils, visitors, staff and external agencies. The postholder will play a key role in creating a positive first impression of the Academy while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school through high-quality administrative and customer service support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents/carers, pupils, staff and external agencies, providing a professional, welcoming and solution-focused service.
  • Ensure all visitors are signed in appropriately, safeguarding procedures are followed and visitor badges are issued in line with Academy procedures.
  • Manage the Academy reception area, ensuring it remains welcoming, organised, secure and representative of the Academy's high standards.
  • Respond to enquiries confidently and courteously, resolving issues wherever possible or referring them to the appropriate colleague.
  • Manage pupil enquiries during the school day, responding appropriately and escalating safeguarding or welfare concerns when necessary.
