Responsibilities

As a Front of House Receptionist, you'll play a pivotal role in the day to day running of reception, delivering outstanding service to every guest.

• Delivering a warm, professional welcome and efficient check in experience
• Managing guest check outs, payments, accounts and robe controls
• Handling guest enquiries, resolving concerns and escalating where appropriate
• Administering payments and end of day procedures in line with company guidelines
• Preparing arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey
• Operating the switchboard and transferring calls professionally
• Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction
• Supporting continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability
• Completing administrative duties and attending training as required
• Always working in line with Champneys' policies, procedures and health & safety standards

Qualifications

• A natural people person with a warm, confident and professional approach
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payments accurately
• Calm and solutions focused when handling guest feedback or challenges
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, guest focused environment
• Previous reception or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential
• Full training will be provided
