Job Description

Job Title: Receptionist - Crossley House Care Home

Location: 885 Thornton Road, Fairweather Green, Bradford BD8 0HH

CQC Rating: Good (Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.9/10)

Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Permanent part time (Thursday to Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm). Optional full schedule including every weekend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home.
  • Manage new enquiries and provide advice and support both face to face and over the phone.
  • Conduct show arounds within the care home.
  • Support the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties, such as maintaining paperwork and filing.
  • Handle enquiries in a timely manner and ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous reception experience with a proven record of excellent customer service.
  • Friendly and approachable manner, both face to face and over the phone.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, families and internal teams.
  • Dedicated, efficient and capable of managing a varied workload with a caring attitude.
