Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school to recruit a Reception Teacher for a permanent role. The school is seeking a committed and experienced Early Years practitioner to lead a Reception class, with a strong focus on early development, phonics, and building secure foundations for lifelong learning.This role is best suited to qualified teachers with proven EYFS experience who are confident in delivering high-quality provision within a structured and supportive environment. The school places a strong emphasis on consistency, clear routines, and nurturing children's confidence, independence, and love of learning from the very start of their education.You will be joining a collaborative Early Years team and a forward-thinking leadership group, all dedicated to maintaining high standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring positive outcomes for all pupils.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported
• Use ongoing assessment to track progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs
• Support children's early literacy, numeracy, and communication development
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home
• Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider Early Years team
• Take part in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• QTS (essential), EYTS considered, ECTs are welcome to apply
• Proven experience teaching within an EYFS setting, ideally Reception
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
• Confident in managing a classroom and supporting a range of abilities
• A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
• A committed, proactive approach to teaching and professional development
