Are you a seasoned Real Estate Project Manager with a passion for transforming office spaces? Ascot Lloyd is looking for a dynamic individual to lead our real estate and workplace projects. This is a newly created role, offering you the chance to bring your expertise in-house and make a significant impact on our company's future.
About the RoleAs the Real Estate Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing office design, construction, refurbishment, and upgrade projects. Your role will ensure these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our company culture, brand, and legal requirements. You will also lead our overall location strategy, ensuring our offices are best positioned to serve our clients and attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Facilities, Marketing, Finance and HR, to develop comprehensive project plans for office space design and construction projects, refurbishments or upgrades.
- Manage all phases of the office location strategy through a comprehensive real estate project lifecycle, from site selection and due diligence to design development, construction oversight, and project closeout.
- Partner with external consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality office spaces.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR on employee consultation regarding real estate changes.
- Proven extensive experience in real estate project management, with a focus on commercial office space design and construction projects, refurbishments and upgrades across a UK footprint.
- Strong project management skills, including detailed project planning, budget/schedule management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment including office expansion and closure / estate consolidation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of real estate development processes (site selection, leasing, financing).
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, especially Revit and CAD.
