Your new company/new role

Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their Legal Services Unit. The role is to support those within the team who provide advice on commercial property investment, developments, and planning disputes. Their global reach sees their clientele include some of the world's largest private investors, development companies, banks, pension funds, and retail funds.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing straightforward purchases and sales (including auction sales and residential plot sales) whilst then assisting with more complex portfolio purchases and sales through routine project management, title and tenancy diligence, and preparation for completion

Managing a busy caseload of transactions that may involve short-term lease agreements, licences to occupy, licences for alterations, licences to assign, surrenders, rent reviews, and deeds of variation/easement

Assisting with file opening procedures, for instance, drafting retainer letters whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Carrying out title and occupational lease review exercises and assisting with the preparation of reports/certificates of title

Assistance with completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filing, and client signing requirements

What you'll need to succeed

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Real Estate-focused Paralegal with a strong academic background. While a law degree is preferred, it is not essential. Applicants who may be working towards CILEX or have previous experience working within the Real Estate legal environment will be equally considered.

You will be proactive and have a keen eye for detail, whilst maintaining excellent organisational and time management skills. Exceptional communicative abilities are necessary, coupled with a collaborative approach that values teamwork.
