ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a dedicated Radiopharmaceutical Production Specialist to join a leading Nuclear Medicine company based in the London area. As the Radiopharmaceutical Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the production of PET radiotracers for clinical use, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Radiopharmaceutical Production Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using hot cell and isolators, including aseptic dispensing with negative pressure isolator technology.
- Participate in the sanitation and maintenance of the aseptic suite facilities, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
- Conduct quality control procedures to analyse the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to European Pharmacopoeia standards.
- Assist in the management of incoming materials, stock control, and environmental monitoring to maintain the facility's operational efficiency.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Radiopharmaceutical Production Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a related science field.
- Proven industry experience in aseptic dispensing, radiopharmacy, or working with isolators.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical chemistry and good manufacturing practice.
