R2R Finance Process Manager

One of our clients is looking for a Finance Process Manager (R2R) to join on a Fixed-Term basis and play a key role in their SAP S/4HANA finance transformation programme.

Role: Finance Process Manager (R2R)
6-Month FTC (Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: £75k - £85k + Benefits (Pro Rata)
Hybrid role: 2 days a week in Berkshire

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a key R2R representative within the SAP S/4HANA programme, ensuring alignment with accounting policy, controls, and business requirements.
• Support system design validation and lead testing cycles including unit testing, SIT and UAT.
• Create, maintain and execute R2R test scripts, scenarios and documentation.
• Log, track, resolve and re-test defects alongside IT, ERP partners and workstream leads.
• Develop future-state R2R process maps, desktop procedures and control frameworks.
• Support cutover activities including data validation, reconciliation and rehearsals.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare support and ensure smooth transition into BAU.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Significant hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Demonstrable experience in ERP finance transformation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Experience documenting processes, controls and operating procedures.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP deployments across multiple business units desirable.
• Background in complex, multi-site or multinational organisations advantageous.
• Exposure to cross-functional integration in SAP programmes a plus.
