The role of the Quantity Surveyor Commercial Refurbishment will involve:

• Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a various commercial construction projects across primarily the public sector
• Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
• Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
• Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
• Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Typical project sizes ranging between £700k - £3m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor Commercial Refurbishment industry with:

• Must have Quantity Surveying experience in construction
• Experience within large scale public sector projects would be highly advantageous
• Would consider a more junior graduate or a trainee
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
• Confident and articulate
