Quantity Surveyor

Access Talent Group are recruiting for an Quantity Surveyor for one of the biggest contractors in Ireland working on exciting large scale projects in Galway.

Our client is a well-established civil engineering contractor known for delivering a wide range of projects, from infrastructure to environmental works. With a reputation for excellence, innovation, and a commitment to quality, they continue to grow and make a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Monitor project expenditures and financial performance.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
