Description

We are hiring for our client, a growing and highly specialised contractor, who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Downpatrick.

This Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects within industrial and commercial sectors, supporting delivery from pre-contract through to final account. The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a business known for quality, technical expertise, and continued investment in their people.

The Role

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
• Manage procurement processes including PQQs and tendering
• Administer contracts and manage variations
• Monitor project costs to ensure delivery within budgetValue completed works and manage interim payments
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal project teams
• Support risk management and value engineering initiatives

The Person

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
• Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, and PQQ processes
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
• Willingness to travel to sites across NI, ROI, and UK
