At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for our client based in North Dublin. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to make an impact in an innovative and growing organisation

Your new role includes:

• Managing costs on a variety of curtain wall & glazing projects.
• Early involvement in projects, liaising and providing advice to the tendering team.
• Checking contract terms and conditions and negotiating acceptable terms with clients.
• Preparing early-stage budgets, cost plans and cashflow and performing risk, value management and cost control
• Allocating work packages to sub-contractors and sub-contract procurement including preparation of contract documents.
• Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks and negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded

Experience you need:

• An appropriate level of qualification e.g., a degree in quantity surveying or similar.
• 3-5 years in a similar role
• Software experience MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Buildsoft, CostX, Bluebeam.
• People management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator with enthusiasm and drive
• Knowledge & Experience of curtain walling / commercial window industry preferable
