Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial management of projects across a range of sectors, working closely with ORS Project Managers, clients, and external consultants.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a broader consultancy-style role within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cost planning, estimating, and budget development
- Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of returns
- Procurement support and subcontractor appointment
- Preparation of valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
- Assessment and agreement of variations and final accounts
- Contract administration support and commercial risk management
- Close collaboration with ORS Project Managers and client teams
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics (or equivalent)
- 2-5 years' relevant post-graduate QS experience
- Experience in consultancy or contractor environments
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Proficiency in Buildsoft/Cubit, Microsoft Excel and Cost Reporting Documents
- Experience with measurement of full Bills of Quantities in accordance with the current Agreed Rules of Measurement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Irish project experience essential
