Job Description

A leading MEP contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Central London.

The main objective of the role is to deliver a portfolio of MEP packages for major construction projects across multiple sectors in Greater London.

Key duties will include:

Developing and implementing pre and post contract strategies, whilst also taking ownership of commercial functions and contract reporting.
Responsibility for work packages and projects, whilst also working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
Taking ownership of subcontract packages, whilst demonstrating an understanding of the implementation of internal and external tender strategies.
Contributing to relevant project procurement strategies with particular focus on the issuing of tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders
Working with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts.
Delivering day-to-day commercial activities with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.

Further Details

Responsible for a portfolio of MEP projects across Greater London, with MEP package values ranging from £10m up to £60m.

Delivering MEP works for a broad range of clients covering both the private and public sectors. Overall project values range from £50m up to £100m+.

The role will involve a combination of office based work and weekly site visits across the region.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.

Minimum of 3+ years' commercial experience supporting the delivery of MEP packages or projects within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and clients.
