What you'll be doing:

As a Quantity Surveyor at Gleeds, you'll play a key role in the delivery and commercial success of major Infrastructure programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting commercial management of major infrastructure projects from inception to completion
  • Developing procurement strategies and managing contracts (NEC3/4) to ensure value and compliance
  • Managing cost planning, forecasting, and reporting for high-value works
  • Overseeing risk, change control, and commercial governance
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to junior commercial staff
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager on major infrastructure projects - sector experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction law
  • Excellent commercial acumen, communication skills, and client-facing experience
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
