Office Based: Manchester (Typically 2-3 days per week)

Covering: North West (National travel may be required)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000neg

The role of the QS / Commercial Manager - Flooring will involve:

• QS / Commercial Manager role overseeing multiple commercial flooring projects across offices, hospitality, and education sectors
• Carrying out site visits and client meetings to build long-term relationships, covering projects nationally from the Manchester office
• Manage commercial flooring projects from tender through to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and to specification.
• Carry out site surveys, prepare accurate quotations, and oversee tender submissions.
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Provide progress reports, forecasts, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
• Managing projects ranging in value up to circa £250k

The ideal applicant will be a QS / Commercial Manager - Flooring with:

• Must have 5+ years as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
• Must have commercial flooring experience; (vinyl, commercial carpets, carpet tiles, rubber flooring, vinyl flooring, LVT etc.)
• Highly advantageous to have experience managing more than one project at one time
• Have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
• Must be a resilient individual who is able to manage site installers
• Professional and highly organised
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Full UK driving license
