Quantity Surveying Officer - Aberdeen

Rate: £178 per day
Location: Aberdeen (site / office based as required)

We are currently recruiting two Quantity Surveying Officers to support the delivery of construction and property projects within a large public sector environment. These roles will focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a varied project portfolio.

Working as part of a multi disciplinary project team, you will provide professional quantity surveying support from pre contract through to post contract stages. The role requires strong cost control, procurement knowledge, and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Monitoring project spend and reporting against approved budgets
• Supporting tender and procurement processes in line with public procurement regulations
• Preparing Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, and contract documentation
• Assessing and valuing contractor applications and variations
• Providing post contract quantity surveying services
• Producing reports and cost information for senior stakeholders
• Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and organisational procedures
