Quantity Surveyor - Highways

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: East Midlands

Region: East Midlands

We are seeking an experienced Highways Quantity Surveyor to work within the East Midlands area.

Working for a leading Highways and Civils contractor, you will lead a team comprising 2 Quantity Surveyors and a commercial assistant, working closely with the client to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Preparation of monthly cost/value reports for the area, including trend analysis with other contract team members.
2. Measurement of works and agreement thereof with clients and subcontractors.
3. Approval and monitoring of subcontractor payments.
4. Proficiency with NEC forms of contract.
5. Recent experience in the highways sector, specifically in civils and road construction.
6. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in highways projects.
