Quantitative systematic traders represent a hybrid of trading, technology, and quantitative research. They identify trading signals, develop strategies, and collaborate with trading, quantitative research, and technology teams.
As a graduate on our quantitative systematic trading programme, you will benefit from an industry leading education programme run by senior traders and researchers. No finance background is required; we will teach everything needed to succeed.
A core strength of our graduate programme is hands on trading simulations and project work. Graduates are immersed in real world algorithmic trading problems, learning about our proprietary dataspaces, novel modelling approaches, and strategy implementation.
Responsibilities- Identify trading signals and develop quantitative trading strategies.
- Process and analyse large datasets with bespoke code.
- Participate in trading simulations and project work to apply theoretical knowledge.
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and technologists to refine models and execute strategies.
- Research minded: You enjoy diving deep into a question and building mathematical models to reveal patterns in vast amounts of data.
- Technically proficient: You have experience writing code to process and analyse large datasets.
- Clear communicator: You build relationships, share ideas, and listen to others.
- Ambitious: You set personal goals, work hard, and strive for full potential.
- Soon to be master's/PhD graduate or post doc: You conduct quantitative research and are available to join the programme in June 2027.
- Education: A comprehensive curriculum covering options pricing, machine learning, data analysis, game theory, trader talks, and in house trading games, with hands on projects and simulations.
