Job Description
The expertise group Work Health Technology (WHT) is committed to improving the quality of work in the Netherlands and ensuring the sustainable and healthy employability of workers. Within the Work Health Technology (WHT) expertise group, you will work as a medior (mid-level) quantitative researcher on issues concerning the rapidly changing labour market and its challenges for workers, organisations, and policy. You will contribute to research and innovation focused on sustainable employability, lifelong development, skills, labour productivity, and the future of work. You will carry out multiple (inter)national research and consultancy projects simultaneously. Developing and applying analytical methods for data on work and the labour market. Conducting complex data analyses (e.g., Developing data infrastructures and linking data files (including big data). Supporting and advising fellow researchers on data analyses. Translating research results into practical advice, reports, and tools. You will work closely with subject matter experts within the Work Health Technology working group and with TNO-wide data science specialists, for example, on labour market mobility, skills transitions, and human-centric technology. You have demonstrable experience with quantitative research and data analysis, preferably in the context of labour, human-technology, and/or health. econometrics, data science, health or social sciences). Experience with statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Stata, Matlab). Knowledge of (or strong affinity with) labour market issues, skills approaches, and/or work and health data. Experience with complex data analyses and modern analytical methods; Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to quality and deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and oral (Dutch and English). Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and connect different perspectives. Knowledge of CBS data and access environments is a plus. This position can be filled either full-time (40 hours) or part-time (32 hours).
