Job Description

We are looking for Quantitative Researchers to join our team in Yerevan.

Location
Yerevan, Armenia or London, UK (Hybrid mode with 3 days in-office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build statistical and predictive models
  • Manage all aspects of the research process, including methodology selection, data collection/normalization, analysis, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
  • Apply rigorous modeling techniques to explore various datasets
  • Build new signals and improve existing ones (long-term)
  • Optimize quantitative code and numerical methods
  • Adapt, fix, write tests, and re-implement strategies' execution code as needed

Basic Requirements

  • Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Practical knowledge of Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, etc.
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English

Nice to Have

  • PhD or MSc in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • Practical knowledge of C++ or Java
  • Experience in competitive programming or participation in international STEM Olympiads is a plus
