We're hiring a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst with a strong background in Rates to join a leading financial institution. The ideal consultant will bring deep expertise in quantitative modelling, pricing, and risk management, combined with strong programming ability in Python and C++.
You'll play a key role in enhancing and extending the Quant Library, working closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to support pricing, valuation adjustments, and model validation.
Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and extend quantitative models across the Rates business.
Contribute to the Quant Library design, construction, and performance optimisation.
Implement and calibrate SABR (Volatility and VAR) models.
Work closely with Front Office quants and technology to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Support risk and PnL teams in understanding and validating pricing and sensitivity calculations.
Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (Maths, Physics, Engineering, or similar).
Proven experience as a Quant Analyst/Quant Developer in a Rates environment.
Proficient in Python and C++ for model development and integration.
Hands-on experience with SABR modelling and VAR frameworks.
Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, stochastic calculus, and risk management concepts.
Experience building and analysing large-scale quant libraries.
