We need an experienced technical leader with expertise in Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Deck and Structures to manage and coordinate our Verification and Validation activities. Drive excellence in large-scale projects and ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of subcontracted work packages. As interim System Integration Lead Outfitting and Structural (Interim) your key responsibilities will include: Oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists. Facilitate Design Reviews and manage compliance escalations. Prepare for and oversee test timelines, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Participate in FAT, HAT, and SAT, ensuring quality and compliance standards. To excel as interim System Integration Lead Outfitting and Structural, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or related discipline. Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects. As a temporary member of our team, you will receive: Flexibility to work from home up to two days a week. This temporary assignment as interim System Integration Lead Outfitting and Structural is exclusively offered on a temporary employment project contract with Damen Naval or secondment (detachering). Freelance or ZZP agreements are not considered due to current Dutch legislation.
