This position would suit an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong engineering background, who thrives in a process-driven environment. Ideal for someone with a passion for continuous improvement and a solid understanding of ISO standards, this role offers a chance to influence product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective quality assurance and control processes to meet customer and business requirements
- Drive continuous improvement using methodologies such as A3, 8D, DMAIC, PFMEA and Lean tools
- Conduct and report on internal and external audits, resolving non-compliance issues with stakeholders
- Manage non-conformances with robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support production teams with expert judgement on quality processes and product conformance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within Manufacturing (Welding/Fabrication).
- Qualified in Engineering discipline - Degree, HNC, HND or similar.
- Strong root cause analysis skills using 8D/A3 methods.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, and further experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEAs.

Salary: £40k - £48k
Benefits: 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
