The role
The Quality assurance Senior Analyst supports the delivery of consistent, accurate and customer-focused operational outcomes across the business. Sitting within Operations, the role is responsible for checking the quality of outputs delivered to customers, reviewing how well internal processes are performed, and supporting the monitoring of controls across core business areas.
This role helps to ensure that errors are minimised, feedback is acted on, and operational processes meet both internal expectations and regulatory standards. It's ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, confident reviewing work against defined criteria, and enjoys helping teams improve how they work.
Perform regular quality checks on operational processes, with a focus on the accuracy, timeliness and clarity of customer-facing outcomes.
Monitor output quality across written communications, transaction execution and service delivery, identifying common issues and trends.
Carry out spot checks and sample testing of key controls to support oversight within the operations function.
Support the documentation of process maps and control steps, ensuring they remain up to date and reflect actual working practices.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal process reviews, embedding quality metrics and monitoring across operations
Maintain logs of issues, observations and remediation plans, following up on agreed actions with process or control owners.
Work with operational team leads to share findings, raise awareness of quality themes and embed continuous improvement.
Contribute to guidance, training or checklists that promote consistent, customer-first delivery of operational services.
Stay informed of relevant regulatory requirements, in particular CASS, and assist with ensuring processes remain compliant.
Experience in a quality assurance, operational oversight or internal audit support role within financial services or a regulated environment.
A strong understanding of operational processes and controls, ideally in investments, wealth management or platform services.
Familiarity with risk and control monitoring frameworks is desirable
Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to reviewing work and identifying issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
The ability to be a team player who can work across functions, supporting others while also taking responsibility for independent tasks.
A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus - comfortable identifying and raising opportunities to improve.

A salary between £35,000 and £45,000 - dependant on experience + reviewed annually

First stage - 45 mins competencies-based interview with the hiring managerand Operations lead
Second stage - one-hour technical interview or assessment
