QA Engineer

Barcelona - Hybrid, min 2 days onsite

6 Month Contract - €200 - €250 per day

A fast-growing team within a leading international group is looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of AI-driven platforms. You'll work closely with developers and product teams to design and execute both manual and automated tests, focusing on end-to-end and component-level testing within an agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Test Design & Automation - Design E2E, regression, and component tests using Playwright, Cucumber (Gherkin), and TypeScript. Maintain reusable tests integrated into CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Test Execution & Debugging - Run automated test suites, log bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Quality & Reporting - Enable traceable debugging with logs, screenshots, and video. Support zero-regression goals and define "done" criteria.
• Collaboration - Contribute to agile ceremonies and collaborate with product and dev teams on story testability.
• Security & Compliance - Ensure GDPR-compliant test practices, using secure data handling and mocking in sensitive environments.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years in QA, ideally in agile teams
• Strong E2E test experience (Playwright preferred, or Cypress/Selenium)
• Skilled in TypeScript/JavaScript and Gherkin (Cucumber or BDD tools)
• Familiar with REST APIs, mocking, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of browser testing, mobile emulation, cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and tools like Allure
• Fluent in English and available min 2 days/week on-site in Barcelona
