Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you an experienced tester with a passion for automation and quality? As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at nexxbiz, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Insurance Automation Platform. You'll design intelligent test solutions that keep our APIs, user interfaces, and system performance reliable under all circumstances.

You won't just be executing tests, you'll build robust test architectures and automation frameworks. With modern test mocks and simulations, you'll gain control over complex integrations and integrate your solutions early in our CI/CD pipelines. This enables teams to confidently roll out new functionality, knowing you've secured stability and performance.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, UI, and performance
• Design and manage test mocks and simulations to isolate complex integrations
• Analyze and translate (business) requirements into detailed test scenarios
• Perform performance and load testing, and analyze the results
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing solutions early in the development cycle
• Continuously improve testing processes and practices within our Agile teams
• Create and maintain test documentation and test data

What you bring

• Experience with test automation for APIs, UI, and performance in a SaaS environment
• Strong affinity with (web) technologies and modern Agile development methods
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail; you get to the heart of issues quickly
• Experience with setting up and using test data management for realistic tests
• Strong communication skills; you report results clearly and effectively
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Proactive mindset and entrepreneurial spirit: you keep the end-user in focus and take initiative
• Bachelor's or Master's level thinking, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering
