Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We're now growing our engineering team in Spain to power the next phase of our journey - and we're looking for passionate Quality Assurance Automation Engineers who want to ensure every release meets the highest standards.

What you'll be doing:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality across our product and client projects.
• Review requirements and technical specifications to provide clear and timely feedback.
• Build and maintain robust test cases and plans - both manual and automated.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts in an agile environment.
• Investigate issues, debug logs, and identify root causes in complex systems.
• Track and report quality metrics to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
• Help shape our QA strategy, processes, and best practices in a high-performance team.

What we're looking for:

You are a curious, structured problem-solver with an eye for detail and a strong drive for excellence. You take ownership, ask the right questions, and strive to deliver the best possible product.

Ideally, you bring:

• Proven experience in quality assurance or software development roles.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Proficiency in Java, scripting, and SQL.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Jira/Xray.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Bonus: Knowledge of the financial domain (banking, wealth management).
• Strong English communication skills (our team language). Spanish or German is a plus.
• Willing to work in the office for min. 3 days a week.
