Quality Assurance Analyst

A fast growing global technology company is seeking a Mid Level Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Engineering organization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring product quality across digital payments, backend services, and system integrations.

You'll work closely with engineering and product teams in an agile environment, owning the quality lifecycle, from test planning and execution to risk identification and production validation. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering in an agile environment to ensure delivery quality.
• Validate business requirements, expected behaviors, edge cases, and error scenarios.
• Plan, design, and execute backend, system, and integration tests.
• Create and maintain test cases, test specifications, logs, and QA documentation.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing across multiple services.
• Conduct API level testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly and reproducibly.
• Participate in requirements reviews and highlight risks or test considerations early.
• Support troubleshooting and investigation across backend components.
• Contribute to the evolution of QA processes and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate throughout the full development lifecycle, including production validation.

Required Experience & Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands on experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong experience with backend and integration testing.
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and scenario creation.
• Experience with bug tracking and defect reporting tools.
• Strong exploratory testing and critical thinking skills.
• Basic understanding of automation tools, frameworks, or methodologies.
• Prior experience working in agile/lean development environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English - must be able to communicate clearly with global teams.
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and a proactive desire to improve product quality.
