Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3) - September 2026 Start
A welcoming two-form entry primary school in the Fenham/Denton area of Newcastle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, initially working through Milk Education for 12 weeks before transferring to a fixed-term contract until August 2027.
The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting teaching and learning through Maths Mastery and SPAG interventions. They will also provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, delivering interventions linked to individual Pupil Passports.
Applicants must hold a CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and have experience of supporting primary-aged children.
