Job Title: Level 3 Qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: North LiverpoolArea: Anfield Pay: £100 per dayJob DescriptionHays Education are working in partnership with a mainstream primary school in Anfield who are seeking a Level 3 Qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.This role will involve providing targeted one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs, ensuring they are fully supported to access learning and achieve their potential.The role will involve:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
• Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum and engage positively in classroom activities
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targets set out within the EHCP, IEP, or individual support plans
• Planning and adapting learning activities, resources, and teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Supporting communication skills, language development, and social interaction
• Promoting emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and positive behaviour
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and sustained engagement in learning
• Using your Level 3 knowledge and experience to contribute effectively to the wider classroom environment

Previous Experience Required:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist school setting
