Are you an experienced Social Worker with strong Kinship experience?

Do you have a passion for delivering high quality support to Children's Services?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Locum Social Worker to join a Kinship Team in the Bolton area. Working within the Fostering Service, you'll be completing kinship assessments and providing targeted support to carers and children.

• Dedicated consultant - one consistent point of contact
• Access to our online e-learning portal to keep your CPD and training up to date
• Weekly payroll
• Two payroll runs each week
• Weekly job updates so you can stay informed about local locum posts
• Refer a friend or colleague and earn up to £300 (ts & cs apply)

• Complete assessments of kinship carers, children, and their home environment
• Undertake court-directed assessments
• Manage a caseload and implement effective case plans for kinship families
• Provide practical and emotional support to kinship carers and children
• Advocate for the needs and rights of children and kinship families
• Link families to education, health, legal, and financial support services

• 1-3 years' experience within a similar statutory social work setting
• Proven experience completing kinship assessments and developing case plans
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• SWE registration
