An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced Qualified Person (QP) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional looking to play a key role in ensuring compliance, product quality, and patient safety within a dynamic GMP manufacturing environment.

Your New Job

As the Qualified Person, you will be responsible for the certification and release of medicinal products in line with EU GMP requirements. Working closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs teams, you will ensure products meet all regulatory and quality standards before release. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence quality culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Certify and release batches of medicinal products in accordance with EU GMP and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all products are manufactured, tested, and released in compliance with marketing authorisations and GMP guidelines
  • Review batch documentation, deviations, investigations, and change controls prior to product release
  • Provide expert GMP and quality guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Support internal and external audits, including inspections by regulatory authorities
  • Contribute to quality risk management, CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving pharmaceutical regulations and industry best practices
What Are We Looking For
  • Eligible to act as a Qualified Person under EU legislation
  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
  • Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of EU GMP guidelines, quality systems, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships across multiple departments
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
